Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 5 June 2026
Our Commitment
Holisticstrength is committed to making our website and studio services accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to meet our obligations under the Equality Act 2010.
Website Accessibility Measures
We have taken the following steps to improve accessibility:
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate headings and landmarks
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, tabs, and accordions
- Sufficient colour contrast across text and interactive elements
- Responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
- Descriptive alt text on images
- Form labels and error messages associated with inputs
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences via CSS transitions kept subtle
Known Limitations
Some third-party embedded content, such as Google Maps, is controlled by external providers and may not fully meet WCAG standards. We are exploring accessible alternatives for location information.
Studio Accessibility
Our Carmelite Priory studio has step-free access to the ground-floor meeting room. Accessible toilet facilities are available on site. If you have specific requirements — including large-print materials, hearing loop support, or adjusted session formats — please inform us when booking so we can make reasonable adjustments.
Feedback and Contact
If you encounter accessibility barriers on our website or during a programme, please contact us:
- Email: question@holisticstrength.world
- Telephone: +44 1865 604003
- Post: Carmelite Priory, Chilswell Ln, Boars Hill, Cumnor, Oxford OX1 5HB
We aim to respond within five business days and will work with you to provide the information or service in an accessible format.
Enforcement Procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for further guidance on your rights under the Equality Act 2010.
Continuous Improvement
We review this statement at least annually and following significant website updates. Accessibility testing forms part of our ongoing development process.
